If you have a specific question that you would like us to answer please click on the button the below. |
| What hours are you open? |
|
We are open from 10:00am-6:00pm Monday to Friday and 10:00am-2:00pm on Saturdays. We are closed all Statutory Holidays as well as the Saturday of that long weekend. |
| Will you deliver to anywhere outside of Calgary? |
| Yes, we can make arrangements to deliver to any street address in Canada. We will tell you what the shipping cost will be before we complete the transaction so you can be sure of what you are required to pay. We cannot deliver to post office boxes because the post office will not accept delivery on your behalf. |
| Can I order on line? |
| Yes, we can fill orders on-line, however, please note that we must process initial Aids to Daily Living requests in person, as we need to receive and file your authorization form. Once you are registered with us you can re-order on-line. Please keep in mind that some products will require a visit to our store for proper fitting or counsel regarding use. |
| Can this be billed directly to my insurance company? |
| Unlike medications, the coverage of medical supplies varies widely. There is no way to predict whether or not your specific plan will cover the required item. It becomes the client’s responsibility to pay and then submit their receipt to their insurer for reimbursement. |
| Is my product paid for by Alberta Health Care? |
| Our provincial program is called “Alberta Aids to Daily Living”. It is a provincially funded and limited program that financially assists individuals with chronic conditions. You must have an assessment by either the hospital, local ADL office or outlying Health Units. Once your needs are assessed the products are ordered from an approved vendor. This is done at the discretion of the government authorizer. Vendors cannot supply without prior government approval. |
